Dr. Robert Sanford
Dr. Robert S. Sanford is one of the most respected urologists in Los Angeles with a combination of expert training, nearly 60 years of experience. Dr. Stanford is known for his compassionate and dedicated approach to patient care which inspired him to become a founding member of Comprehensive Urology in Beverly Hills, where he has continually provided exemplary medical care for a wide range of urological conditions.
Dr. Sanford completed his undergraduate studies at Brooklyn College in Brooklyn, New York, before continuing to medical school at New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. He completed his internship at the prestigious Cedars Sinai Medical Center (Cedars of Lebanon), in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Sanford also completed his general surgery residency and urology residency at the Jewish Hospital and Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
After leading a successful private practice since 1971, Dr. Sanford formed Comprehensive Urology in 2003, along with Dr. Kiarash Michel, to make quality urological care accessible to more people. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Robert S Sanford has served in many capacities throughout his career, including as Chairman of the Medical Education Committee, Chief of Urology at Cedars Sinai Hospital, and Chief of Staff at Westside Hospital.
Dr. Robert Sanford is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor of Urology at the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles. He looks forward to helping his new and longstanding patients resolve their urological issues and lead healthier lives.
